POSITION: Level 1 Service Desk Technician
POSITION REPORTS TO: IT Manager
JOB PURPOSE:
The Level 1 Service Desk Technician role assists the company?s IT department in performing the IT tasks assigned to the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Internal helpdesk support for employees, ticket creation and resolution
- Setup and installation of physical IT hardware: computers stations for new employees, TV?s for digital signage, network cabling, switch rack mounting, conference room maintenance, and other related tasks as assigned
- Supports team in ensuring the IT warehouse is organized and assets are tracked
- Assists IT team in maintain the IT system environment: on and off boarding of employees, setup and remove employee from other accounts (non-integrated software accounts)
- Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Associate?s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field or relevant experience
- Solid knowledge and understanding of computer operating systems and networks
- Windows administration, with experience in Active Directory and Windows Domain environments
- Strong knowledge in IT troubleshooting for Windows environments
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, UDP protocol experience preferred
- Ability to organize and carry out multiple tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Travel up to 15%
